Top 10 Annoying Songs of the Month

June 1999

Currently I'm in Australia where the radio stations don't much
  1. Geri Halliwell's single
A Spice Girl as a solo God, is the world coming to an end?

  2. "Slide" - Goo Goo Dolls
Can you believe this has been on the charts for 39 weeks in a row? What the hell is so special about this song? IT SUCKS!

  3. "That Don't Impress Me Much" - Shania Twain
TOGETHER AT LAST! Country music and R&B, the two genres of music I have more contempt for than anything else.

  4. "No Scrubs" - TLC
I don't know what the hell a "scrub" is, and more importantly I don't care. Another fuck you to VH-1, this time for having a Behind the Music on these guys. TLC? As if the one on Leif Garrett wasn't bad enough. What next, one on the Backstreet Bozos?

  5. "If You Had My Love" - Jennifer Lopez
You know the old cliche....Don't quit your day job.

  6. That damned B*witched song
You pride yourselves on being like the Spice Girls, only better. Tell me, is that really something to be proud of?

  7. Britney Spears' current single
She's done it....she's officially become the Tiffany of the 90's.

  8. N'Sync's current single
you knew this wasn't going anywhere :)

  9. "Every Morning" - Sugar Ray
Thankfully this one appears to be on it's way out...still, hearing it once every few weeks or so is once too much.

  10. "Fly Away" - Lenny Kravitz
This song is lingering around like the odor from a pair of old gym socks.
  • May's offenders
  • No April listing cause I was too lazy
  • March's
  • February's
